LAYR3 is a company builder. We identify problems that persist because the system around them no longer works as well as it should, then build the company, product, service, marketplace, or operating model the problem actually requires.
We may begin with a broken handoff, a process people have learned to work around, a service gap, or an industry that has outgrown the way it operates.
We stay with the problem long enough to understand the system producing it. Then we choose the form that gives the better answer its best chance to work.

Understand what’s underneath it and you may find something worth building.
What appears to be the problem is often only its most visible layer.
Beneath it are systems, incentives, habits, assumptions, and opportunities that are easy to miss if you’re only trying to fix what’s in front of you.
We start there.
Then we build.
What matters
We care about the distance between a good idea and something that actually works—in someone’s business, home, classroom, portfolio, or life.
That distance is where operating detail matters: whether the answer can be understood, trusted, adopted, and improved once it enters the real world.
L3 is not a rigid formula or a promise that every problem unfolds neatly in three steps. It is a way of resisting the first explanation.
